Yes
Depending on the year of the Monte Carlo the 02 sensor could be installed in several places on the exhaust. The 02 sensor screws in. You may need a special socket to remove it, just unscrew the sensor and screw the new one in.
actually there is a panel in the trunk 02 monte under the rug near the back seat
Mounted on top, drivers side of fuel tank.
A 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo holds approximately 10 quarts of transmission fluid. When only the fluid in the pan is changed, a total of 5 quarts of fluid is needed.
The cooling fan relay switch, on your 2002 Monte Carlo, is located on the back of the fan hub. You will need to open the engine compartment hood in order to see the relay switch.
well..i don't know if this will quite answer the question or not...but the GXp has 275 hp and depending on which SS Monte Carlo model...most SS's in 01 02 only were big v-6's but there were only a few V8's made. I have a Bonneville GXp but before that I was going to buy a Monte Carlo SS. Most likely the large V8 for the Monte Carlo SS would be faster :) My car weighs a good bit.......
