Not unless you are running Windows on your Mac. You do not need anti-virus software on your Mac slowing it down. There has never been a real world virus infect the Mac OSx. There have been a handful of malwares infect a Mac but if you are safe and smart they will not infect your Mac. Been using an iMac for 4 years without one infection and I run no security software.

Get a coin preferably a penny or cent depending where you live unscrew the bolt were the batteries are kept put the new ones in + side down rescrew the bolt push the button on the keyboard and it should work a treat I have an iMac myself.

The 5th iMac was the aluminum iMac which came out in (August 2007), followed by the iMac Aluminum Unibody (2009). The newest iMac is simply called 2012 iMac and it came out on November 30, 2012.
