as far as it fitting the blocks are the same but the theres a few things that wont interchange so while it will fit it won't work unless you know what changes you have to make, your best bet is to buy a block from 1990 and up unless you'er just going to run the motor and nothing else, you can call me with any questions at 636-575-0255, thanks harry
