Can you put a 3.0 engine in an 86 mr2
You'll have two questions to answer first: Do I want to be able to drop and engine and have no need for cutting of body parts (car) and major fabrication from scratch? or "Damn the torpedos. Full steam ahead!" and who cares what you have to do to get it to fit! If it's option 1, then the 4AG-ZE (supercharged) engine off an 88-89 MR2 is the closets thing you can get to a straight drop in. It's rated output is 145bhp. The next would be the 4A-GE 20 valve engine from Japan. It's an updated version of the 4A-GE in the 86-87 MR2 but the 20v is rated at 160bhp.

30 percent off 86 dollars = $60.2030% off of $86= 30% discount applied to $86= $86 - (30% * $86)= $86 - (0.30 * $86)= $86 - $25.80= $60.20
30% of 86 = 25.8 = 30% * 86 = 30%/100% * 86 = 258/10 or 25.8
Yes it will, No problems. New answer: When you asked your question, You were asking about the transmission if they were the same. When you messaged me I told you thay were the same. The last message sounded like you were going to put a 86 engine in a 88 camaro, You will run into all kinds of problems, The 86 V6 is a carbureted engine and the 88 V6 is a fuel injected engine. You need to put a fuel injected engine back in your camaro so the computer in your car will still controll the engine and transmission. The 86 V6 engine will fit in the car but your electrical system will not hook up to the 86 V6 engine. NEUTZ.
LCM(86, 30) = 1290.
While your standard 5.0 liter (307 cubic inch) engine will fit into your '86, you can put a larger or smaller engine in there. I have seen an '86 with an 8.2 liter (502 cubic inch) engine in it, taken from a 70-75 Eldorado and I have done the same with my '87 Fleetwood Brougham.
86 / 2 - 13 = 30
We are talking fuel right? Approx 10.5gal in my '85, so I would assume the same for an '86.
