Sorry i had to delete your response Hub
Yes for hub, he is absolutely correct. However not for a '92 into a '93. The problem is internal. The crankshaft is different in the '91-'92 engines. Because the timing of the fuel and spark is based of the crankshaft position sensor, the '92 in the '93 will NOT run. At all.
you need a '93 - '94 engine. Or a '95 - '97 engine with an EGR adapter
Correction, you CAN swap the motors as long as you also swap the computers
No, it will not perform as it should. The 92 is OBD1 & the 2000 is OBD2. The ECU will not function correctly on this engine.
If you have the know how you can put anything you want in it.

I have a 92 SC and there's a detailed fuse list in the owners manual. If you don't have 1 there are lots on ebay.
how will u
Saturn engine interchangibility.yes, by all means you can, the only thing is ..you have to match the ignition modules to the crankshaft. i.e. use a 93 module for the 93 crank and a 91-92 module for a 91-92 crank. there is a timing difference built in to the module for the crankshaft notches. that's about it. everything else will work.
I had an 92 Honda accord that had 375,000 Miles on it and hit a wall and the motor still ran!

yes, but you have to rig the water hoses differently. (I put an '89 motor into a '92-same thing) yes, but you have to rig the water hoses differently. (I put an '89 motor into a '92-same thing)
how do you bleed a cluch on a 92 Saturn sl
5W-30 according to the manuf.
Check your fuse and wiring first this may be the problem. To replace the motor you must remove the front dash...which requires some patients, a combination of screws and clips. Once exposed the motor is easily removed.
