Yes of course you can put an h-series into an eg civic. It's done every day.
A super-charger or turbo-charger system can be installed on the V-TEC or i-VTEC DOHC motors. There are several good companies that provide solutions for either application.
Your car is VTEC already.
Yes!
Yes you can, but makes sure you get the oil lines as well as the new head, I recommend getting a b16 vtec head off a 2000 civic si
Yes you can put a turbo on a Honda civic 1.6. I got mine from Matts Auto Accessories 1-800-691-RACE. They have all kinds of performance parts!!
everything from a d16z to a k20. depends on how much money you want to spend
he's a better driver. plain and simple, sorry to burst your bubble. is you engine originally like that or did you put in the vtec motor (im assuming D16Z6 SOHC vtec) and used the regular tranny that was already in the car. if you swapped the motor in and used your CX, VX, or DX tranny, the gearing in the tranny is different and could cause you to be slower.
Yes you can. You can either use your LS block and put a Vtec head on it or you can just swap it out with a GSR or Type-R motor.
just dont, lots more easy is to just buy a V-Tec and put it in = D
Yeah, don't bother with the F22A1, it's a lousy engine. The H series heads will bolt directly on however, regardless of if it's DOHC or SOHC. Look up G23, it's a combination of a F23A1 block and a H22 VTEC head. It makes the same power as a K series at 1/3 the price dont even bother just put a b series in it and its a direct mount just change the motor mounts. did it on my civic defentaly worth it
no you cant the bolt patern on the vtec heads are different then the non vtec heads
Yes 01-05 as long as it's same motor read the block i.e. D16z6 so another example you can't put a single cam tranny (d-series) on a dohc like Si
