Maybe I can narrow down the date of birth a bit- the 235 was made from 1912-1915, ALL shotgun making stopped 1916, resumed 1920, and the model 235 ended production in 1932. The "Arms & Tools" name was not used after 1915, so if your gun is marked as "Stevens Arms &Tools", that would put it in the 1912-1915 time period. You may also contact Stevens thru their website to see if they can offer any more precise date.

If both the Stevens and Savage names are on the gun, it was made between 1948 and 1991. Model 258 is a double barrel, right? (don't have my reference book at hand) If so, if fully functioning and in decent shape, it should be worth around $250. The 258A is a bolt action Shotgun. The 258 is a bolt action shotgun manufactured between 1937-1965 with a two shell detachable box magazine. I would say that 250 is a reach. I would put it around $130.

The Sears Ranger 12 gauge model 102.25 was made by Stevens Arms Company and designed by Browning. 100% grade would put the value at approx. $200.00 if it was a Stevens. Less to some buyers if they are not attracted to the Sears marketing of the same gun. I personally think you would be safe at $150.00 for a nice used gun that has most of the bluing and the wood is in good condition. These guns are very trustworthy and are very dependable. A real shooters shotgun.
