Neither should go in your air conditioner! I assume you mean the radiator which has coolant, but this is not an air conditioner and will not make your air in the car blow cold. If you need coolant for the coolant system then the type of coolant depends on the make and model of the car. However, it is ALL anti-freeze. That is what DEX cool is, but Dex cool is for specific engines. In general, most engines that I have come across will take DEX. What type of car and what year is it?
Dexcool don't use any other type
the gas tank is probably damaged possibly the AC unit of the car dripping from condensation, see if the fluid has a smell, if not. i wouldn't worry, unless you only put water in your radiator instead of antifreeze
why dose all the antifreeze leak out when you turn on the ac from your 2000 honda accored
Not antifreeze, that is special oil for the ac compressor with some dye in it to help trace refrigerant leaks.
no
if the mist is water, it's just condensation. but if it's antifreeze then you have a leak in your core. If it's water it will evaporate without leaving a stain, if it's antifreeze it will streak when you try to whip it off.
My first instinct is to say "Your kidding me rite?". However, I'm curious, why do you fell you need to winterize your AC unit?. My second question is what type of AC unit do you have?
Only reason would be that the heater core is leaking.
leaking heater core
The "fumes" are more than likely antifreeze from a leaky heater core.
It uses R134a refrigerant and green antifreeze. It uses R134a refrigerant and green antifreeze.
put on ac in car and over heats
