Yes it possible to put a keyless entry on a 11 year old car. My husband actually had one installed in his 1964 Chevy Chevelle. It was great to be able lock the doors, especially in this day and age.
Look up by the parking brake under the dash board. They used to put a sticker there with the master keyless entry code on it.
You put in a 5 digit code and it unlocks the driver's door. You can program your own code if you know the original code.
most cars with key less entry have a key some where in the alarm its self that key can get you into the car but not turn on the car. to be able to turn on the car you would have to put a new battery in it. With this key you be able to at least gain entry.

When you have it off yow will see a big black box with stickers on it just look for keyless entry code. put it in once and it unlocks your doors and twice opens your trunk.
