Is wave nouveau like carefree curl?
No. They are different. I had a wave nouveau for years and it made my hair curly but there was no movement or bounce in it. I switched to a Carefree curl and my hair (the hair that grew in afterwards) had bounce in it again. I would never go back to the wave nouveau. Also, I don't use activator in my hair, so it doesn't have the greasy feel. I use Nexxus Humectress as a leave in conditioner, then I put Dep gel on it. It dries grease free and it just looks like I have natural medium sized curls. So many people tell me that I have "good hair" (I don't think that curly hair is the only way your hair can be "good", kinky hair is good, too).

Dry it in a towel and apply an instant curl activator, then finger comb your hair. A reccomendation would be care free curl gold.Jheri curls were very very greasy so after you put the activator in spray a large amount of moisturizing spray all over your hair. Enough for it to be very greasy.When you have a lot of spray in your hair, shake it around to get it deep in your hair. Then finger comb.
Can you put a texturizer on the ends of your hair?
You CAN, but you should not because you will end up with different curl/wave patterns in your hair & they will likely break/burn off if they've already been treated previously.

No it does not. It contains ammonium thioglycolate, which is milder. It won't make the hair bone straight before the rods are put on, but it won't damage the hair or scalp, either.
