Wait until after the plant is done flowering. I like to do my transplanting in late winter when the indoor growing conditions start to improve with the increase in daylight. Transplant your Christmas Cactus into the next size container only one to two inches in diameter larger than the existing container. This will help you avoid root rot, poor growth and delayed blooming.
