I found a book called Gone by an author named Michael Grant. Its a great book about a little town where all the sudden every person over the age 14 desappears. Then you discover that some of the kids have powers. I also recently found out that the author is writing more books for the Gone series!!! It's amazing so read it! You should read Tiger's Curse and Tiger's Quest by Colleen Houck. She is an amazing writer. Some parts of it are like Twilight but are very different subjects. The new book comes out soon called Tiger's voyage.
