Can you record with a minidisc using the Irig mic?

The iRig is designed for the iPod and iPad. It has a 1/8" 4-conductor plug which is not compatible with minidisc recorders. It is possible to make a custom adapter to allow you to use this mic, but there are other better mics that will work right away with a minidisc recorder without adapters, such as the Sony ECM-MS957.
