∙ 13y ago- Most people are married on a Saturday, but when a certain wedding anniversary is to be celebrated their date of marriage often falls on the Sunday or another day of the week so yes, it is appropriate to celebrate your anniversary on the Saturday closest to your wedding anniversary.

∙ 16y agoI believe most people celebrate the original date unless the renewing of vows is more significant. Personally, I would go with the original date for anniversaries etc.
