yes but this is normally done when there has been a miss fire on that cylinder. normally you replace all at one time but if money is tight a few at a time could spread the cost out if need be.

To replace spark plugs: 1. Remove the spark plug wire. Twist the boot to free it up from the spark plug, then pull the wire off with the boot. 2. Use a 5/8" spark plug socket with suitable extension and either a ratchet or breaker bar to loosen the spar plug and take it out. 3. Set the gap on the new spark plug to 0.045" and use the spark plug socket to install it. 4. Reattach the spark plug wire and move to the next spark plug. I do them one at a time, that way I don't get them mixed up. Now may be a good time to replace the spark plug wires.
To change the spark plugs in a Chevy Celebrity: 1. Give the spark plug boot a twist to free it up from the spark plug, then pull on the boot to remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug. 2. Use a 5/8" spark plug socket with an extension and ratchet or breaker bar to loosen then remove the spark plug. 3. Set the gap on the new plug to .045" then screw it back into the spark plug hole in the head. Tighten the spark plug and replace the spark plug wire. I change the spark plugs one at a time to keep from getting the spark plug wires on the wrong spark plug.

Fix: tighen plug to proper specs with torque wrench. 2) Spark plug "washer" bad or gone. Fix: Replace washer. 3) Spark plug seals bad. Fix: Replace spark plug. 4) Bad threads in spark plug hole. Fix: Retap, or "Helicoil" it. 5) Crack in head near spark plug hole. Fix: Replace head.

you would follow the spark plaug wires from the disributor to the spark plug and replace it. Spark plug wires are different sizes in length depending on where they go. Also make sure they are in the right order or your engine might run rough.
1. Get the right spark plugs fron your local autosho 2. Start at plug 1, which is the 1st plug in from the left of the engine. Gently work spark plug lead off the plug. 3. Set the gap at .54" ( the gap is the opening at the botom of the plug) 4. Insert new plug 5. Reconnect plug lead. If you want to replace the plug leads then do them 1 at a just time follow the lead back to the distributor cap and swap it out. To change ther spark plugs on a 2000 Lincoln Ls V-8 you will need to remove the cover attached to the valve covers. There are 6 bolts (metric size 7) on each cover. Then remove the bolts that hold the coilpack inplace. There is one coil for each spark plug. Pull the coil pack and plug wire out of the spark plug hole. Then remove the spark plug (5/8). Replace the spark plug and I would suggest changing the plug wire ( this the rubber tibe and coil spring) when changing the spark plugs. After replacing the spark plugs, wiring and coils reinstall the cover. This takes some time the first time you do it. I work on cars all the time (hobby) and it took me about 1 1/2 hours to do the spark plug and wire change. It is a lot eaiser on my 73 Mustang. I hope this will help you.
First raise the hood. Then locate the spark plug wires. DO ONE AT A TIME OR ELSE YOUR CAR WILL NOT RUN VERY WELL OR NOT AT ALL. Remove the first spark plug using a ratchet with a 6" extension (this prevents busted-up knuckles)and a 5/8" spark plug socket. Loosen and remove. When replacing with a new plug be careful how tight you get the plug, as you will want to do this again in 1 year. Oh, and by the way, you can apply antisieze compound to the spark plug threads; but please do so sparingly.
The first thing you need to do is understand that there are four spark plugs in your 87 Accord.
