To change ther spark plugs on a 2000 Lincoln LS V-8 you will need to remove the cover attached to the valve covers. There are 6 bolts (metric size 7) on each cover. Then remove the bolts that hold the coilpack inplace. There is one coil for each spark plug. Pull the coil pack and plug wire out of the spark plug hole. Then remove the spark plug (5/8). Replace the spark plug and I would suggest changing the plug wire ( this the rubber tibe and coil spring) when changing the spark plugs. After replacing the spark plugs, wiring and coils reinstall the cover. This takes some time the first time you do it. I work on cars all the time (hobby) and it took me about 1 1/2 hours to do the spark plug and wire change. It is a lot eaiser on my 73 Mustang. I hope this will help you.
The Dodge Hemi's have 2 spark plugs per cylinder which equals 16 spark plugs
Spark plugs are around $1.50 - $3 a piece... depending on how many you have $2 x amount of spark plugs = amount it should cost Probably no more than $20
Do this one plug at a time, and reconnect that wire so as to not get wires mixed up. REMOVAL Remove spark plug wires from spark plugs with a Spark Plug Wire Remover tool, pull outward on the boot with a slight side-to-side twist. Loosen spark plugs and remove any dirt or foreign material from spark plug areas of cylinder head with compressed air. Remove spark plugs. INSTALLATION Inspect and adjust spark plugs. Spark Plug Gap: 0.042" to 0.046". Install spark plugs. Tighten spark plugs to 9-20 N.m (7-15 lb in). Connect spark plug wires to spark plugs.
I would suggest buy a book on your car at the auto parts store for about $20-it wil help with all repairs and maintenance for your car

There are many stores that sell the NGK spark plugs for cheap. However, the store that sells the cheapest NGK spark plugs would be the AdvanceAutoParts site which gives a 20% discount code.
Spark plugs are really easy to access and should not take longer than 15 to 20 minutes and that's going really slow. I replaced mine in 5 mins.
Depends on what you mean by service it? Change spark plugs, change lower unit oil, change impeller & thermostat, check 20 amp fuse, FULL decard, compression check, etc.....
On top of the engine block when you open the hood you will see black cords attached to your engine block you will need to give a good tug to expose the spark plugs. -Cody
Bad plug wires, bad spark plugs.
I just did this over the weekend with my fathers help. The spark plugs are located right on top of the valve cover(whatever you call it) There are 2 coils for the 4 plugs, this is if it is a 4cyl. You simply pull the plugs out one at a time and using an extension on your 5/8 in. ratchet/socket set you can change them very easily, yo will need a 10mm socket to remove the coils to take out the 2nd and 4th spark plug, the recommended gap is .39-.43...took us about 20 mins once we got the right tools for the job...hope this helps...if you have a 6cyl, I can't help you out...
