You can use a rear end from a 2013 or 2014 camaro or ss camro to replace a rear end in a 2014 SS Camaro car.
What type of rear end do you have?
I am finding that astro vans are very likely to bend the rear end housing. I am fixing mine for the second time now. The axle housing bends and then puts the carier bearings in a bind. also check the outer ends of the axle shafts for bearing wear. Replace the shafts if you see any pitting or galling. Good luck.
A "dually" is a truck (or some of the dodge sprinter and freightliner vans) with a heavy duty rear end and 4 wheels on the rear axle alone. Dually's are better for towing and can take a heavier load compared to regular rear ends.
Check your rear U-Joint, plus the fluid level in your rear end. Also on my Aerostar, in my brake assembly I found a broken brake spring. If it is the gears in the rear-end you may have to replace. Good luck!
Rear end differentials have several different types and sizes of bearings. The cost to replace all of the bearings will be around $400.
