yes,if you had the tools,and the know how.you could do it and get out cheap.But not if you pay a hvac co. to do it.If the coil is bad,then most likely so is everything else,fan.housing,etc.it would be cheaper to replace whole unit,due to time of tear down,install,pulling vaccum on new parts.
That isn't a typical Rheem model number, are you sure that isn't the serial? If it is the model number it is a 2.5 ton :)

A good place to start would be the online website for you local newspaper. Another place you could look for a used 1.5 Rheem air conditioner is on craigslist.org.
Rheem has a website. Best to look there unless this is an older model no longer supported.

The AHU unit does not have a tonnage rating, since all AHU`s can accept a number of different tonnage evaporator coils. Your best bet would be to post the condensing unit model and serial#`s.
