I am using Daniusoft Media Converter Pro for converting Windows Media Player music and videos WMA/WMV files to iTunes, easy and simple to use.
By using music or video player software that has this option. Such as VLC Player or Windows Media Player.
You should be able to. If you download the file from the internet(do it legally) you can then move them to the device without using the windows media player.
First you have to rip the CD to your computer (use Windows Media Player for that). Once you have the CD music on your computer, Import it into Windows Movie Maker using the Import Media feature.
Using Windows Media Player Sync option this can be done through the computer.
Rip the music from the CD (using the feature in Windows Media Player). Once you have the files on your computer, locate and import them into Windows Movie Maker.
Using windows media player instead will not slow your computer down

Windows Media Player can play audio and video files on a computer. To display the time on videos using Windows Media Player, view the movie in full screen and keep the cursor down near the bottom of the screen.
An active window is the window of an application you are using by that time. If you open Google Chrome, Windows Media Player together, but you are operating Google Chrome, then Google Chrome is the active window. If you are using Windows Media Player instead of Google Chrome, then Windows Media Player is the active window.
