The Sims 3 is not officially compatible with Windows 2000. It can be run if you download Xinput1_3.dll, Xinput1_2.dll and Xinput9_1_0.dll and put them in the directory with The Sims 3's .exe file.

∙ 14y agoyes, just make sure all of your drivers are up to date, or you will run into problems. Some hardware is not supported in Windows 7, like some graphics cards etc.
