No.
If you want to run dual processors, they need to both be the same speed, and either "MP" (multiprocessor) versions, or hacked 'normal' CPUs (there is a way of making normal CPUs report they are MP CPUs)
I want a motherboard which is compatible with this CPU amd athlon 64 5200 dual core am2 Socket processor
Amd athlon 64 x2 dual-core
Yes it is! The AMD Athlon II series is based on the AM3 processor socket, which is compatible with the ASRock N68-S3 motherboard!
The Intel chip is faster and is easier to overclock than the athlon.
Yes it can, I have one in my Gateway and it came with a Amd Athlon X2 64 4200+ CPU, it wont support AM2 or AM3 chips though,
No. However, processors labeled "AMD Athlon 64 X2" aredual-core processors.
One can buy a AMD Athlon 64x2 dual core processor at local retailers such as Walmart, Target, Sears, AAFES, and the NEX. One can also purchase online at sites such as Amazon or eBay.
Dozens of motherboard models are capable of supporting an Intel Pentium Dual-Core.
Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor also the AMD Opteron uses dual-core technology (designed for high end servers and workstations)
No. If you want dual CPUs from AMD, you need to get opteron CPUs.
Yes. This motherboard supports the AMD Athlon 64 X2. I believe the Athlon 64 X2 4800+ is the fastest processor this board will support.
MSI has not produced many dual processor boards. The Athlon socket motherboard for MP processors is for 266 DDR FSB chips only. It may pose a problem if the user wanted to upgrade to something better, as the chip would likely not support a 333 FSB or beyond cpu. However, there are some newer dual opteron motherboards that look promising. Try "googling" 'dual opteron motherboard' and see what results come up. Bear in mind that AMD is going to release a dual core CPU which, in effect, are two cpus on one chip.
