Only certain games don't need the expansion pak or the controller pak.
Nope. Not without mods, at least. (I assume you mean the Wii and/or DSi or 3DS
Is that a trick question?
You have to register with sixtyforce to save.
On any game that needs the expansion pack, all you need to do is play, and save. Certain games save if you do something vital to the completion of the game. Sometimes, a save option will be located in the menu bar (the strip of options that usually appears when the game is paused.)
No. The jumper pack is the basic ram pak that is shipped with all N64's from the factory. The jumper pack ends the ram cycle and allows you to run games with 4 mb of ram. The expansion pack boosts your resolution and allows games to run with 8 mb of ram. Some games can only run properly with the expansion pack installed.
Pack and Go
The only use of a ram pak for n64 would be the expansion pak which increases the memory capacity for better graphics and sounds quality. .j.
The AC adapter for the N64 is the power source of the system. It is what plugs into the wall and runs the system. Without this key piece your N64 would not function. .j.
its a pak system that allows you to play Donkey Kong 64 and Legend of Zelda. you have to unplug the n64 from the wall and turned off power to replace the jumper pak with the expansion pak
I am afraid that the .n64save and .n64freeze formats are used only by the propriety n64 emulator for Mac OS X, Sixtytforce. [www.sixtyforce.com]
Not quite. A game pack could refer to either the Cartridge placed into the Nintendo 64 directly and is used to store the game's data, or the attachment that is placed on the back of the N64 controller. A memory card is the unit that saves the altered data for the game. There are two types of memory cards for the Nintendo 64 games, the built-in memory storage that is included in many of the N64 game Cartridges, and the memory pack, this is an attachment for the controller itself, and is used for any games that require a save feature for your profile, but do not have one installed in the Cartridge (an example game would be Gex 64, it requires that you save, but cannot save the game in the cartridge).
If you mean for save games, sort of, the games saves are stored on the cartridge but the memory card allows you to transfer data between cartridges and also save ghost data (apparently). But if want to, you could pick up the N64 Expansion pack for it, adding 4mb extra RAM. (actually a lot to the 64.) You have to get the expansion pack if you want to play games like Majora's Mask. Ocarina of Time is better though.
