Best Answer

yes,you

can see friction. think of when a plane is about to break the speed of sound, ok

now as the plane reaches speeds of over 700 mph you start to see a white circle around it, that is the air rubbing against the plane so yes you can see friction

Does friction makes things cooler?

No. friction produces thermal energy therefore friction produces heat. Rub your hands together and see what happens.

How can you friction?

when you slide across a surface and then see an affect after.

Why did you pull a sneaker that wasn't moving to test starting friction?

Why do you pull the sneaker at a slow speed for stopping friction?

What are the four fundamental rules governing friction loss in hose and pipe?

See frictionlosscalculator.com. They have a good description of friction loss I fire hose.

Why is the absence of friction important when studying interacting objects?

The absence of friction makes it a 100% efficient space to see the reaction between any interacting objects.

What 2 things create lots of friction?

Why could cars not move without friction?

When the wheels of a car turn, friction causes the wheels to push back on the road, which in turn causes the road to push the car forward. Without friction the wheels would just spin in place. You can sometimes see this occur on icy roads, where there is very little friction.

What are the 2kinds of friction?

Static Friction and Kinetic Friction. Static Friction is what friction that slows you down. While Kinetic friction is sliding friction.

Why friction does not occur in smooth surfaces?

It is wrong to say that friction doesn't occur in smooth surface.. As ideally, no such surface exists, which has 0 value of friction. We can say that the magnitude of friction force is less in smooth surfaces as compared to that in rough surfaces. Friction opposes the motion of a body. When we go to the molecular level, we can see that the surface of a plane is not smooth but rough.. We cannot see that roughness through naked eyes. But the amount of roughness differs from object to object. The so called smooth surfaces have less roughness as compared to un-smooth surfaces. Hence, the magnitude of friction is LESS in smooth surfaces...
