An opaque object is not transparent. Light can not pass through it. Doors, walls, wooden furnture and people would all be opaque. they are things that you can't see things throw like a TV, a bed Ect.

The object will be invisible, unless of course it is refracted, in which case the refraction will scatter the light. And light will refract through any change in material medium.

Solid objects can be transparent (you can see easily through them like a cup), translucent (you can kind of see through it like a tinted window), or opaque (you can't see through it like a chair or a book). You can't see through opaque objects.

For the most part, no. Some of each slice may have a thin enough section to be (partially) transparent, though.

Opaque means you can't se through i at all. transparent means that you can see through it clearly and translucent means that light passes through but not clear images (like a foggy day) . No, a window is transparent which means you can see though it . I remenber thins because the word for see-through is trans(parent) which has the word parent in it. For example a tree, book, and person (if not a ghost) *kidding* opaque. Which means they are NOT see-through that is why it is easier to focus on the things that are opaque. The very last seeing word is transluesent that is an object such as wax paper or a frosted window you can see colors and shapes but not very clearly.
