Most all pawn shops will buy gold of any type including coins. The coin needs to be full gold, not just plated gold. They will weight the coin and quote you a price.
They'll buy dog sh*t if it's gold plated, so yes.
Pawn shops will NOT take it. You can get money for it if you have several pounds of it though on eBay

the GP stands for 'gold plated' which means that the item is not gold all the way through. Chances are your local pawnshop will not take the item. If it is Silver plated with gold you could possibly get a dollar or two on the item but that's not always the case.

The amount a 10K gold bracelet will be worth at a pawn shop will vary. It will depend on what the current market price of gold is and how much of a percentage of that the pawn shop owner is willing to give you.
Take it to the local pawn shop and ask for eg £30 to pawn 4a month a gold ring. If its not real gold they wont pawn it and it will cost you nothing!!x
