Yes, but only if it is on the same server. You just have to use the mail system and type in the name of your ally character.

Yes you can, you send them just like regular mail, as long as it is the same realm.

No. Heirlooms can not be sold, disenchanted, or given to other accounts. The only thing you can do is delete them. However, you can send them to you characters of on the opposite faction. They will transfer with a character if you do a paid character transfer.

No - Blizzard has made sure that you cannot send yourself something via mail from allies to horde BUT you can put it on neutral Auction House - and take a chance that someone else gets your XXXX. You can pass things back and forth over the Auction House (say charge 3x what it normally goes for, and send the money back by selling something stupid for an outrageous amount - say "wooden stick" worth 2 coppers, sell it for 20g. Same thing with BOE equipment, sell at 2x normal price, Hordy then sell "wooden stick" for same amount. It will take 2 hours for the exchange but it is the only possible way to transfer between Allies and Horde. He is wrong after the update 3.3 you where able to give characters of different fractions heriloom but you must be the same server and only one character has the heriloom.

It is currently not possible to send Bind on Battlenet Account gear (heirlooms) to another realm. This is a limitation of the mailing system as it was never meant to be cross-realm. They are working on it, it will just take some time to implement it. The only way currently to get BoA gear to another realm is to realm transfer, which costs money.

Click the Alliance icon, then in the top right of that screen there is an "Options" button. One of the "Options" listed is the option to send a group message. Providing of course that you have the "speakers" in "My Items" and the permissions to send a group message (a member of an alliance that doesn't have officer level or above permissions within the alliance will find this group message button unavailable).
