2600 ft is about 792 meters. Several of us shoot at 1000 meters on a regular basis, and can hit a 10 inch diameter target. The longest documented rifle shot in combat is approximately 8,121 ft, using a .338 Lapua Magnum. Much of the ability to use a rifle accurately at such extreme ranges is the ability to read (and compensate for) winds, and heat mirages. Long range shooter Gary Wood fired a 1000 yard 5 shot group a while ago that was 1.859 inches. Sounds pretty accurate to me.
All airsoft guns can shoot .12g bbs. However with more powerful guns, heavier bbs are recommended for better accuracy
The same as you do any time you shoot.

No. Any gun that you can buy from Wallmart should have no expectation of accuracy.
Not anywhere in the US that I am aware of. Do understand that an air rifle, from a certain distance, looks like any other rifle so don't point it at cops or they will shoot you.
Any real gun can shoot through walls. Depends on size of gun and what the wall is made of.
Any firearm that will shoot the 7.62 NATO cartridge. This could include the M14 rifle, the M1A, the M60 machine gun, or any civilian rifle that will shoot the .308 Winchester. There are literally thousand of different rifles that can fire that cartridge.
.22 Cal. rifles have very little, if any, recoil and are not much louder than an adults CO2 powered air rifle. If the 10 year old has never shot a rifle or any other firearm before a .22 cal. is the best place to start.
Some common issues reported with the Remington Model 742 include jamming, feeding problems, and inconsistent accuracy. These issues can often be attributed to the rifle's design and construction. It is recommended to properly maintain and test the rifle before relying on it for hunting or shooting activities.
