A Rossi 20 gauge single shot shotgun can fire any factory-made rifled slug, as long as the barrel is marked Modified, IC, or Cylinder. If it's marked Full, it may be too tight for some slugs. Remington Slugger is a suitable brand.
if it has a choke like poly and or screw in choke dont shoot slugs as it can dammage it
Simply put, no.
It is not recommended to shoot slugs with a power pack chock on a JC Higgins model.
no
Most shot guns can handle deer slugs.
stupid nobody knows the answer to that.
Any 2 3/4 or 3 inch shell. That includes birdshot, buckshot and slugs. Sabot slugs will not shoot well in a smoothbore. Stay with rifled slugs.
The last one I saw today had a 28 inch full choke barrel. Sure I would shoot buckshot out of that shotgun all day. I don't know about slugs though. The box of slugs state that they will shoot out of any choke; however, IC produces the best results.
yes u can, open the choke all the way open or it will crack or may even blow apart the screw on choke. but shooting slugs with it fully opened up should shoot slugs real well
The JC Higgins Model 20 is a well-made firearm. Provided you have it checked by a competent gunsmith, it can handle any standard 12ga 2 3/4" shotshell. If the gun is not choked 'FULL' you should be able to use slugs.
You need to have it examined by a gunsmith. The answer could be yes, or it could be no. Depends on how it is choked.
