Yes, it is possible to sign up for Second Life without a PayPal account, basic membership requires no payment.
Second Life uses Paypal as the only digital way to move money out of your account. It also uses it for age verification. Now that Second Life is closing down the teen version and allowing all users into the main grid (virtual world), all users must be age verified. This will affect your ability to access certain parts of Second Life.
The most minimum requirement for the ability to sell and purchase Linden Dollars is some form of real life payment. Options aside from a credit card would be something like a Debit Card, or a PayPal account. There currently is no way to purchase or sell Linden Dollars without having some form of real life payment associated with your account. It is possible to earn Lindens within second life and use them to buy things without any real life payment details. To do this you will need to provide a service or create and sell goods to other players.
It would depend on the terms and conditions of the account and what the account is about. Generically speaking, it may be that the second account holder shares the account equally with the primary and therefore both have to approve changes to the account. Alternatively, in many cases either of the primary account holders has full privileges to do anything without the knowledge or consent of the other.
A basic Second Life account does not require any credit card details or payment information. Premium membership does however incur a monthly charge.
you should follow your dream!
no having more than one accounts is banned. If you got/get caught then the first and second account will be deleted.
There are two ways that a scammer is ripping people off on Craigslist! First, it happens when the consumer posts something for sale... A scammer reply with an email stating that they are on the mainland. They are having a problem getting to a western union and will gladly send you the extra money to ship your product to them. They ask for your PayPal email (which is fine to give out), and then they send you fake confirmations stating that money has been deposited into your account. These emails are fake... You can always call PayPal directly if you have any questions: 1-888-221-1161 Paypal has a service where you can send the fake emails you receive as long as they are emails claiming to be from PayPal. Basic Craigslist emails are not accepted. You can send those to the FBI, but there is a form and it takes time. You can send PayPal scam emails to: spoof@paypal.com The second way that a scammer uses Craigslist is to post a property for rent and then accept the rental moneys by PayPal. This is the hardest Hawaii scam because how do you the renter know that the property for rent is a real property. People are actually renting places, traveling to Hawaii, and then finding they have no place to stay! This is just horrible... Whatever you do... DO NOT SEND MONEY THROUGH WESTERN UNION TO ANYONE FROM CRAIGSLIST! You can rent through PayPal but you should check to see that the PayPal user is a "verified" account holder. If you ever have a question regarding PayPal you can call them! They will get to you in just a few minutes...
