....I would soak the dog in a warm (not hot) bath with a few drops of lavender and tea tree essential oil, then spritz its fur paying particular attention to under its leg areas and tail area with a home made lemon spray ( recipe below)
Lemon Spritz.
Cut a lemon into quaters and soak it in a jug of boiling water over night.
Next day pour the mixture into a spray bottle .
Cheap, easy, safe and effective....
REMEMBER: you will need to completely and thoroughly clean all the surroundings ...bedding , towels carpets etc.
When you are done with that. Get some flea shampoo and get rid of them. The lemon was a great last meal, but they have no business in your house! The above could be done later to make the dog smell nice.
PLEASE be very careful of your dog's eyes!
Are you crazy? If swollening the bleach doesn't kill your dog the fumes would! You absolutely cannot bathe your dog in bleach, and I can only hope you meant this question to be some sort of bad joke.
Not a great idea. The chlorine is not good for a dog's skin, and the solution will not get to all the places fleas hide. If you don't get all of the little critters, they will soon come back. Better to find a good flea treatment and follow the manufacturer's directions.
NO. They CAN'T drink BLEACH. Just buy a flea removal dog soap and give it bath, or use a spot-on treatment. After the bath let your dog dry a little and brush its fur with a metal brush to where it doesn't hurt your dogs skin and collect the extra eggs and such. If you don't want to buy your dog flea soap then try the natural way - home remedies like : olive oil, pour some on your dogs coat in the bathtub or yard because what dog wants to sit in a bathtub and just sit there, and let it soak in, let it drown all of the fleas. Also this will give your dog a good coat afterwards because of all the great oils in the olive oil. Please consult the vet first what the best flea treatment is for your dog.
Do NOT soak your dog in bleach! Do NOT soak any living thing in bleach.
no the bleach will turn your dog fur white. it will not kill the fleas.
yes thats a good why to get rid of them. you can find treatments that shoudnt be expensive and just wash it our by taking your animal for a bath
NO! Do NOT soak your dog in bleach.
Chlorine can be found in both bleach and drinking water.
No, it does not. Drinking bleach is incredibly stupid and dangerous.
Household bleach has about 6 % bleach and 94% is water.Tap water usually has approx. two parts bleach to every one million parts water, or ( .0002 % )bleach and 99.9998 % is water )
Chlorine
people bleach their bathtubs to clean them, so that they can store emergency drinking water
Bleach is NOT meant to be drunk by anyone. It is a poison and will make you sick.
em let me think YOU WILL DIE!
symptoms of chlorine poisoning
Absolutely not! Bleach is a toxin and if your cat actually drinks her water then she can die, or get very very sick. Even if the cat doesn't drink the water, bleach is extremely toxic, and can cause serious and very painful illness, even death. Use ONLY products made for cats to remove fleas.
If you mean for drinking water then, NO WAY! you can't drink bleach. You can use old water for almost everything. There is no real need to put bleach in water.
Could you put a drop of Clorox bleach in your own drinking water? yes, it's technically possible. However, it should not be done. Bleach is poisonous. Cleaning a puppy's water bowl with bleach is acceptable, as long as the bleach evaporates (dries) before water is put in.
