As long as you are careful why not.
Hope This Helps.
Rember to keep a three point stance at all times and you should not fall.

Yes but it's not a good idea. stability of a boat is dependent on two things, it's center of buoyancy, CB, (the center of the upward forces on the boat) and its center of gravity, CG, (the center of the downward forces on the boat). On a small boat the closer the CB and the CG the more stable the boat is. In other words the lower the CG is, the better, because on a little boat like that the CB is very low in the boat. When you stand up you suddenly move the CG up about 3 feet. So you have just dramatically decreased the stability of the boat.
So if you do this, be very careful, do not move suddenly and don't move to one side of the boat or the other. And wear your life jacket.
not sure how wide your Jon boat is but I would go with a 3.5HP or 5HP outboard no bigger
About 10 to 12 on plane
i have an 8 ft aluminum Jon boat and the weight limit is 350 lbs for all your gear and you.

Jonathan.
I would say if you know what model or make your Jon boat is you can find it. The motor capacity is determined by multiple factors. Height of sides, the mounting area of where you would put the motor. If it has a plate your already on the internet a lil searching with that model number and should be a non issue.
Yes
A jon boat is a flat bottomed fishing boat. It is made of wood or aluminium. They may have up to three bench seats for passengers. They are usually 6.1 by 4.1 meters in size. They are not built for speed, they are designed to be slow.
there is a plate riveted to the hull that shows the coast guard ratings for max H.P. along with max weight of passengers and cargo, and other things. Look there.

It is a flat bottom boat, usually with a low gunwale. Thus meaning it has little freeboard. Jon boats are used mainly for water fowl hunting and running about in swampy waters.
