"Higher" math skills are not required to be a pilot. What is pretty much required is a college degree (so you can be competetive in the job market), and most degrees other than in the Arts and Humanities require advanced math. That's your potential stumbling block. However, if you want to be an airline pilot, a degree in History is just as valid as a degree in Engineering, as long as it is a 4 year degree from a nationally accredited institution. Fact.
yes you need advanced math but now, most aircrafts have computers that do the math for you but you still need to know the basics
well no you need to take various tests to become a commercial pilot and the pass mark is 75percent and you still need those required subjets im doing triple science and a level physics and you need a b or above
Most probably, you can become a banker cos that you need lots of Maths. If u don't think it's right,I'm still a kid.....Improve the Question..
yes, maths is important, you will still want to count your money, & possibly do your book keeping. & you'll be surprised how much math you will use in the real world everyday.
I would say it depends on what you want to do: if you want to become a civilian pilot then obviously get a license, to be in the military you have to have certain qualifications, I want to join the British army air corps and they say you must have at least 2 A-levels and some GCSEs including maths and English so if you have no qualifications get some because from my research you have to have qualifications to become a military pilot go to http://www.aopa.org/careerpilot/index.html and http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov/cgi/t/text/text-idx?c=ecfr&sid=40760189a03dfea0b501608f33820a45&rgn=div5&view=text&node=14:2.0.1.1.2&idno=14

Both are very important. However maths could still be taught in other languages if English were not available.
maybe if you are on hardcore meds. but still, they will not risk it if a schizophrenic person lost it while flying a plane. Because then they will get sewed big time.
They are not used commercially but are still commonly used in schools for basic maths education.
