yes but if its the only 1 u have dont do it cause what a format is it completely counts and erases EVERYTHING on it so if u have windows 7 or what ever it will delete it and ur computer wont run unless u put a Operating System on it
I believe that the 4 gb xbox 360 you are talking about is the new slim. There is no way to use your old hard drive with the new slim xbox. You will need to buy a transfer cable to move your saved games to the 4gb hard drive.
