Absolutely, if there are proper grounds.
It depends on the grounds for the original case you were going to sue him for. If it was for an illegal discriminatory practice or illegal harassment, then in addition to your original case, you can also sue him for what is called "retalition," which a form of harassment. It is probably not a good idea to tell your boss that you are suing him. If you are going to sue your boss, you should let your lawyer or a court officer serve him with the lawsuit.
yes u can sue
sue the boss
Of course you can. Why not. If he fires you, when you sue on him/her just say I can find a better place to work. Don't be scared to do that!
you can sue for anything, the question is, Is this something to sue about? I don't think so. I don't believe she broke any rules. Try talking to your boss.
just tell your boss to LET YOU on and do it now because u'll sue him !
Your boss probably could if they were either really moody or you had a horrid personality.
Probably not. -MJB
Sexual harassment is a form of discrimination, in the United States, that violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. I do not know whether you could successfully sue your boss, but if you are uncomfortable with the emails he is sending you, then tell him first. Complain to him and threaten to sue, this will probably make him stop sending you the emails.
You can sue your employer only if allowed by statute (some EEO laws) or if you suffered dollar damages through the employers failure to perform a known duty (negligence) other than workers comp beneficiaries, who can never sue for negligence. SInce you have no right to complain, you cannot sue for being denied a right to complain.
No where's the sense in that? Even if it bothers you you can't do anything anyway because it's just stating the facts.
Yes, u can! Im very sorry about ur marriage! :( that mustve been terrible! By all means, sue this woman. U go girl! show em whos boss!
