Yes you can.
You can switch the rear end from a Chevy 1500 with a Chevy 2500 rear end with minimal effort. Both have similar components but the 2500 offers increased durability.
No you can not, The spider gears in the rear differential are a different size and so are the outer wheel bearings and seals. Won't work.
the '52 should have a 4.11:1 ratio in it currently. If you change it out for the '54 rear end you will have a 3.55:1 ratio. As far as changing it, it should bolt right up. Do you have a more specific question?
get a posi traction rear end and swap it out.
It can be done, yes.
Chevy 10 bolt rear
will a 1988 rear end fit under a 1965 chevy truck
find a posi out of a z28 and swap the whole axle assembly
unless you have some serious torque pushing out of that hd you don't want that gearing in that duramax rearend it probably has 4:11 gears which is great for diesel but shity for gas rigs......
If you have the "know how" you can.........to answer your question, yes, it can be done
Yes it should
No it will not, There are different size carriers for different rear end houseing
