I've seen someone take seats from a 4th gen Camaro and put them into a 3rd gen. I don't know if the seat brackets are a direct bolt on, but anything is possible, really.
Yes they are a direct bolt on, at least in 3rd to 4th gen and vice versa
yes it should bolt right in, if not just switch the bracket on the bottom of the seat

You need to remove the front and rear seats. Remove the console, various interior panels and the door sill plates. Pull out the carpet.
