I take it you're trying to sync songs to your player. The best thing to do would be to use Windows Media Player to create a sync list and sync the songs to your mp3 player.

It Doesnt Say It Has Stopped. It Just Says You Are Sync.
You can do this by connecting up the device, opening Windows Media Player and clicking the 'Sync' button at the top of the player, providing you are running Windows XP or Vista.
