on 6/30/09 I was prescribed fioricet and Xanax, along with my Adderall. It wasn't a good thing. I have literally no memory of anything I did for the week I was on them. I seemed to be on "autop-pilot" at first but I lost my wallet, wrecked my car (minor fender bender with my gate), attempted to sell property for almost nothing and ended up in an ambulance. I did not abuse or over medicate at all. It was just the combination was an awful mixture to my personal body chemistry. As I mentioned, I have NO MEMORY of any of this time and slept 3 days straight after my ambulance ride. A week later, I'm still fuzzy and unable to maintain focus. I slip into a "trance" if you will. I wonder how long it will take for the effects of this to wear off. To answer the question, No. I would definitely not recommend taking that combination to anyone, especially if you haven't got someone to pull the plug on it if things go bad. Jason A. 27 yrs old

yes; i take them together for my migraines. my doctor said it was okay because the painkiller in fioricet and the anti-inflammitory painkiller in Advil(ibuprofen) are different. although you can't mix many drugs with fioricet due to the depressant side effects it contains. it is safe to take fioricet and advil together.

Ativan and fioricet are both prescription drugs. A doctor or pharmacist will be able to let you know if the drugs can be taken together.
