I'm not a doctor, but my own doctor told me not to take ibuprofen or aspirin with Cymbalta as it can cause your blood to become thinner.
I wouldn't recommend mixing the two on a regular basis. Taking cymbalta with any NSAID can cause stomach bleeding. If it's used on occasion then it shouldn't be a problem. I used to take 600mg of ibuprofen every 6-8 hours every day with cymbalta and it caused my stomach to bleed. Also, the higher the dose, the more likely bleeding is to occur (i.e. 120mg of cymbalta daily with 800mg of ibuprofen QID).

Yes, you can take ibuprofen with Duloxetine. I am currently on 30 mg of Cymbalta (an SSRI for Bipolar disorder) and have had no problems with its interaction with any medicine that I take, and believe me, out of all of the medicines that I am perscribed to, ibuprofin, a non-steroidal anti-inflamatory agent, is the mildest. Just remember to always follow dosing directions on the bottle, especially if you have heart or blood circulation problems.
