I recently was prescribed to take citalopram and have since contracted some sort of flu/cough. I was nervous to take anything because they had warned me of the ill effects of ibuprofen and other such OTC's when mixed with citalopram. However, I spoke with my Doctor Who informed me that most of the problems involve thinner blood and mostly affect older or less healthy individuals. I am 21 years old on citalopram for 4 months, and took a combination of dayquil and NyQuil to relieve the symptoms and experienced no problems. I in no way am a professional nor am I qualified to give professional advice, I would highly recommend talking to your prescribing doctor before taking anything along with your citalopram.
These will not interact. You can keep taking your Lysine while you take the cold medicine.Remember that Nyquil is a combination product. Check ingredients before taking other over the counter products, as they might have the same ingredients.

According to my drug book, there are no problems associated with taking these two meds together.
Yes, it won't hurt you. It may cause an increase in drowsiness. Don't drink alcohol or drive on this combination.
It is not safe to take NyQuil while also taking Adderall, Klonopin, Lexapro, and Percocet, as it can cause seizures and other serious side effects.
No, you cannot take Diclofenac while taking Lansoprazole. This is because of unwanted side effects to include diarrhea, nausea, pain, malaise, headache, back pain and even pneumonia.
It's funny you should this, I would get anxiety when I used Nyquil while I was taking paxil. I think you shouldn't use the Nyquil with DXM in it while on paxil
can you take nyquail while on celxa
Yes, You will be fine.
You should consult your healthcare provider before taking NyQuil while on warfarin. NyQuil contains ingredients that can affect blood clotting and may interact with warfarin, potentially increasing the risk of bleeding. Always discuss any new medications or over-the-counter products with your doctor to ensure safety.
Yes the muscle relaxer will calm you, but the NyQuil will relive pain and make you sleepy.
