you probably shouldn't because they both have Tylenol and you should take only so much of Tylenol you could mess up your liver.
Taking Tylenol 3 and Percocet together is not recommended. Before taking them together, seek the advice of a physician.
4 tylenol 3 equal 1 percocet
yes
....really? Percocet is a mixture of two different active ingredients. Oxycodone and Tylenol. Tylenol is also known as acetaminophen. So there is already acetaminophen in percocet. There is no reason to take MORE Tylenol. However, if you really feel the need it won't hurt to take a Tylenol or two with your prescription. You need to be careful though, too much Tylenol is known to cause liver damage. Keep it reasonable and you will be fine.
YES
NO..percocet contains oxycodone/Tylenol(acetaminophen) and codeine/Tylenol is a weaker pain medication. They are both opiates..... Codeine is used to treat mild to moderate pain and is also a very good cough medicine...
Both of these medicines can be taken together since they are a different medicine BUT....the Tylonol is more of a concern. You do not want to exceed 1000 mg in a 6 hour period. Tylonol 3 and 4 have 300 mg of Tylonol while percocet has 350 Total amount of tylonol conumption would only be 650 mg the same as an extra stength tylonol. So if you take one Tylonol 3 or 4 and one Percocet this would be all right. I would check with a doctor before taking this much medicine unless you are use to it.There are people who are on Oxycontin, which contains oxycodone (the same as Percocet) who take tylonol 3 or 4 as a break through pain. These people also will take these medicines together if authorized by their doctor to do so.
hi there can i take tylenol 3 with viagra
No. Percocet is Oxycodone with APAP(Tylenol) most common doseage is 5/325. T3's are Codeine and Tylenol 30/300. Its not reccomended to take more than 1000mg of Tylenol in a sitting and not more than 4000mg in a day, its very hard on your liver. Also both of these medications cause respatory depression (ie you might fall asleep and stop breathing) so I suppose its not reccomended all the way around.
Both medication can be taken together. However, both have similar side effects and these might be increased. If you can take a smaller dose (half) of ativan the night you take Tylenol PM, it would be the best choice.
Percocet is a combo of two drugs: oxycodone and APAP (tylenol). They are mixed in 3 main formulations but other variations exist. 5/325 7/500 10/325. The lower number indicating the amount of oxycodone, the higher number being the tylenol.
Tylenol 3, just as the name suggests, is a level 3 narcotic. Oxycodone is a level 2 narcotic. This means that when comparing the 2, oxycodone will stay in the body longer, have stronger effects, and be much more addictive.
You should only take medicines as prescribed for you by a qualified medical practitioner (a doctor) - the doctor will know which drugs may be taken together.
