Hi' I have two herniated discs L5-S1 and I'm in considerable pain when on my feet' walking and working etc.
I have been given Dihydrocodeine 30mg four times daily' this really helps with the pain, but I would like to know if it is possible to take Amitriptyline 10mg with this to help releive the imflamation of the muscle around the discs ?

∙ 13y agoThese have been prescribed together; Wellbutrin for depression, or ADHD, or smoking cessation, and hydrocodone for pain. However, this combination needs to be carefully monitored by the prescribing physician, especially if the intended effects are to occur. Dose titration is usually required for Wellbutrin, as different doses will affect individuals in different ways.
