i took percocets after I had hand surgery and i've been taking lexapro for a couple months now. I was told it is fine that i did so, and everything went well. Although, everyone's body can react to pills in a different way. Definitely make sure your not taking too much, obviously do not overdose.

∙ 14y agoI was just in the hospital with pneumonia and they gave me vicodin everyday. I am on 20mg Lexapro daily and the doctors knew that as well. I asked to double check from things I have read and also I'm on several other pills(thyroid, blood pressure, insulin, inhalers, potassium) and they assured me it would be fine.

∙ 13y agoMedically, they are safe to be taken together, however discuss the risks of taking oxycodone with your doctor. Like all opiates, it is addictiive, but used as directed to relieve pain for a few days it is highly unlikely you will become a drug addict.

∙ 9y agoNo, a person cannot take Percocet while on Celexa. The drug interaction can cause a serotonin syndrome, and can possibly lead to death.
