Adivan is an anti anxiety drug. Tramadol is used for pain, think of it as like a "Super Ibuprofen" as it does not have opiate narcotics in it. Tramadol works for some people particularly if the pain is muscular or from swelling. Both of these medications can cause drowsiness. Use extreme caution when combining them before you know how you will react to them. Do not attempt to drive or work, etc. Since both are prescription drugs it is ALWAYS a good idea to ask your Pharmacist ANY questions you may have. It is also a good idea to only fill at one pharmacy as it will help ensure that they can make sure none of your medication is is incompatible with each other.
