Generally speaking, no. Some airlines may allow beverages purchased within the "secure area" (i.e. the gate area after the security checkpoint) to be carried on board, but they're not required to and if the gate agent tells you you can't take your drink on board you'll have to either finish it there or throw it away.

You are not allowed to take alcohol on a plane. However, once the plane is in flight, you may purchase some from the flight attendants. You are also not permitted to be drunk on an aircraft.
