Yes, you may. I am taking both now. Augmentin for a sinus infection and i am also having headaches, so i am taking ibuprofen. I have asked a pharmacist and they said these 2 drugs can be taken together

Yes as long as you are not on any blood thinners (Coumadin/Warfarin, Lovenox, Heparin, etc...). Ibuprofen is an analgesic of the NSAID category. Augmentin (Amoxicillin w/ clavulanate) is an antibiotic of the Penicillin category.

Warning: Do not take Ibuprofen or Augmentin if you have a history of bleeding disorders or are currently taking anticoagulants.

Warning: Do not take Augmentin if you have a history of Penicillin Allergies.
