Not when they are still just a few weeks old, it is no recommended.
If you have a runt, place the doe in your lap on her back, and put the runt on her baby so it can eat. Repeat this for a few days and you should see it getting better. If not, you could try hand feeding them, but try all with the doe first.
The kits need the mothers' warmth or the nest, and the milk.
No u cant once you touch it de mommy wont like it any more
so she wouldn't feed it or anything so u have to take care of it ur self by feeding him a special bunnie milk ^^
You should check baby rabbits right after they are born to make sure there are no dead kits. This can be done by washing your hands making sure they are free of scent (soaps, perfumes, food) and dabbing a bit of vanilla (or Vicks Vapo Rub) on the doe below her nose. Check the nest for dead kits or a wet nest, then dab vanilla (or Vicks) on the rim of the nest box. By the time the scent goes away the doe will have forgotten that you were even in there. When the babies are 10 days old she will not care if you look at them or not. NOW I know that was not your question but I felt I should address the misinformation above. You should not put babies back in with their Mom after you have weaned them (6 to 8 weeks). Every rabbit should have it's own cage by the time it is 3-4 months old. Rabbits will not recognize the baby as theirs but more as an intruder into their territory! They will fight. Young bucks will breed their mothers (not good).
Baby rabbits should probably not be taken away from Mom for long. They need frequent feedings from her. When rabbits are first born, they also need Mom for warmth. Without her, they may get too cold.
However, frequent handling is great, as long as the mother rabbit is familiar with your scent, and doesn't seem upset about being separated from her babies. Taking baby rabbits out for a visit is a wonderful way to get them accustomed to humans and changing environments, and encourages them to be social and friendly if done right.
My rabbit was handled frequently from birth, and he is an extremely social, friendly little guy. He actively seeks out attention from my fiance and I much more frequently than the average rabbit might.
Best of luck!
the baby rabbit should be at least 6 weeks old be four u take it from the mom
no the baby will have more of the chance of living if it is separated. who is to stop the parents if they mistake the baby for food? (it has happened and the parents have attacked the babies before as well)
if your over 16-18 then no. but if they got social servies invoved they could.
No.
yes anyone can take you to a clinic in an emergency! but your parents will more than likely be contected!!!
When it is a newborn, there is no way to know if it is abused or not. If the parents pose a risk to the child, the state will take steps to protect the child.
yes idk how through i mean they can make you put it up for adopition
No and no. However, make sure you're moving into a stable environment for the sake of the baby.
take it to a vet
No. They don’t take away baby cows. Mom and baby are put in a special pen.
Both are still minors, the parents can legally move her and the baby.
No, and he should not be frightening you with such threats, your baby is not a pawn to be used to threaten you or control you. If you really believe he would try and do this, you should seek help and advice on how to deal with this from social services.
