∙ 14y agoI have just been prescribed these two drugs to alleviate the pain of osteoarthritis in my hips. The paracetamol is to be taken every six hours and the codeine sulphate every four hours, as needed. I understand that cocodamol is made up of these two drugs but that taking them separately provides flexibility in controlling pain.
