I took vicodin with metronidazole last night, and woke up in the middle of my sleep feeling major shorness of breath. However this is likely due to my reaction to vicodin. I took some deep breaths and relaxed for a bit before i went to sleep and was fine. Also i smoked marijuana right after taking the mix dont know what that contributed.

Codeine is OK to take while on concerta, however, be careful with a codeine cough syrup. Some codeine cough syrup also contains Pseudophedrine Hydrochloride, a decongestant. Pseudophedrine Hydrochloride will react with concerta and cause nervousness, shakiness, increased heart rate, and anxiety. The reason being is that concerta is a Central Nervous System (CNS) stimulant and so is Pseudophedrine Hydrochloride, causing a "double whammy" to your CNS. It depends from person to person on if the codeine will cause drowsiness or wakeuflness.
Can you take codeine and Adderall together?
It depends on if the cough syrup contains dextromethorphan (DXM). DXM and adderall are a very unwise mix, creating a MAOI. It can cause very negative consequences and I would highly suggest against it. If it does not contain DXM, however, there should be no problem.
