From the phrasing of the question, and prior postings on this site, my assumption is that the question is unclear as it actually needs to be understood in terms of the chemical and its/their dosage(s) involved.

100% hydrodocone is not actually what is in the M357 [Mallinkrot Pharma's 5-500] or M-360 [their 7.5-750]. Practically any hydrocodone pill, as noted in many postings, contains 100x as much acetaminophen as hydrocodone. Oxycodone is one of the forms that lacks acetaminophen.

So does the question refer to someone taking a generic Vicodin [hydrocodone + acetaminophen] or 100% hydrocodone? It seems to me that this should be clarified, before posting the answer.

The significance of this clarification should not be overlooked, as I recently discovered that there are emergency room MDs who write prescriptions for hydrocodone, although their written narrative specifically states that "the patient should avoid the acetaminophen part" (!) A pharmacist can only fill the prescription as written and does not have access to the other paperwork that documents a patient-doctor visit.

The 4 gram (4,000 mg) daily acetaminophen limit can easily be exceeded if someone takes generic Vicodin with the Tylenol sleep aid (or its generic forms) containing acetaminophen.

Well HydroCodone consist of Tylenol.

The first number u see usually 5 or 10 mg would be the amount of codine (which metabolizes as morphine once ingested). The second number would be the amount of Tylenol. So if you take one 5/500 pill , it would be safe to say u can take another tynonel with it. Because your dose would be 1000 mg which is the highest dose your soposted to take at one time. I would wait 4 hours before taking again. Because 2000 mg is considered a OVERDOSE.

Vicodin, a brand name hydrocodone formulation, contains Tylenol so yes, you can take the two together, although you should make sure your hydrocodone pills do not have any Tylenol in them, as you do not want to go too high with the Tylenol doses.
